その作品に、遥か昔から装飾性や聖性を好まれ使われてきた純金箔をストーンに封入したのがゴールドリーフバージョンとなる。

その豪華さと神秘性が従来 the WINTERのカラーストーンとはまた異なった特別な雰囲気を持っている。金は劣化しないという点から「永遠に輝く光」と言われており、その想いを込めて創られた作品となっている。
金箔の入り方、量、細かさによって個体差が表現されている。

ストーンの表情は一点一点がデザイナー本人による手作業による製作のため、ふたつと同じものは存在しない。
