The *Dorje* is a Tibetan Buddhist amulet said to gather power from the heavens and protect its bearer from misfortune and adversity. This particular piece is a "Bird Dorje," featuring an eagle—a bird associated with foresight—carved into the design to imbue the wearer with that power. The tips of the Dorje are shaped like sword blades, as the sword is believed to cut through and dispel evil energy.
