そんな時に、簡単にリングサイズを測る方法をご紹介します。

指輪のサイズは、リングの円周（内周）で決まります。正確に計測したい方は、宝石専門店などでリングサイズゲージを使って計測してもらうのがいいのですが、次の方法を使えば、ご自分でもリングサイズを簡単に知る方法があります。

※個人差もありますが、測る時間帯や体調により指のむくみが有る場合は、0.5号ほど変動します。測る指の状況を考慮してリングサイズを決めてください。また、幅広のデザインは少しキツク感じる事もあるので、やや大きめ（１〜2号）の号数をお選び下さい。

■糸とモノサシで測る  Measure with thread and monosashi
指輪のサイズは、リングの円周（内周）で決まりますので、糸を指に巻きつけてその長さを測れば、指周りの長さが分かります。その長さ（円周）をリングサイズ対応表で調べればリングサイズが分かります。

The size of the ring is determined by the circumference (inner circumference) of the ring, so if you wrap a thread around your finger and measure its length, you can find the length around your finger. You can find the ring size by checking the length (circumference) in the ring size correspondence table.

１．用意するもの

・木綿糸やひも．．．伸縮性のないもの。
・マジック．．．糸に印をつけます。
・モノサシ．．．ミリ単位で測れるもの。

２．リングを着けたいと思う指のいちばん太い部分（第二関節あたり）が計測箇所です。

３．用意した糸を指の計測箇所に巻きつけます。
注）．きつすぎず、ゆるすぎず調度いい感じで巻いて下さい。

４．糸が重なる部分にマジックで２本とも印を付けます。

５．糸を伸ばすと、２箇所にマジックで付けた印があります。

６．印と印の間を測り、下のリングサイズ換算表からリングサイズを調べて下さい。

2. The thickest part of the finger (around the second joint) where you want to wear the ring is the measurement point.

3. Wrap the prepared thread around the measurement point of your finger. note). Wrap it in a good condition, not too tight and not too loose.

4. Mark both threads with magic on the part where the threads overlap.

5. When you stretch the thread, there are two magic marks.

6. Measure between the marks and check the ring size from the ring size conversion table below.

 

■リングサイズゲージで測る　Measure with a ring size gauge
正確なリングサイズを測りたい方には、サイズゲージがオススメです。東急ハンズや宝石専門店などで販売しています。サイズゲージ大（１号から３０号用）で１,８００円前後、サイズゲージ小（６号から２０号用）で１,０００円前後で販売しています。指輪を沢山もっている方は、ひとつくらい持っておいてもいいかもしれません。

 For those who want to measure the exact ring size, the size gauge is recommended. It is sold at Tokyu Hands and jewelry specialty stores. Large size gauges (for Nos. 1 to 30) are sold for around 1,800 yen, and small size gauges (for Nos. 6 to 20) are sold for around 1,000 yen. If you have a lot of rings, you may want to have one.

 

※紙や糸で測る時の注意　Precautions when measuring with paper or thread
紙テープや糸などを使って指まわりを測る方法は、ちから加減ひとつで大きく誤差がでます。ちからを入れすぎると小さくなり、ゆるんだ状態で測ると大きなサイズになってしまいます。特に紙テープなどを使うと紙の厚さで生じる誤差や、ねじれることで、かなり大きく狂います。正確なサイズから3号以上誤差がでることもあります。紙テープや糸などでの計測は、できるだけ一人で行わず2人で行って下さい。なるべくならリングサイズゲージの使用やアクセサリーショップで計測してもらってください。正確で安心です。
